Travel Vaccinations
If you are traveling abroad you may not be aware that certain countries have required vaccinations before you are allowed entry. There is also increased health risk associated with travel to certain regions and countries. Dr. Whyte can advise you on the required vaccinations and also provide advise on the optional vaccinations available. Some of the more common travel vaccinations available are:
- Malaria
- Rabies
- Yellow Fever
- Typhoid
- Polio / Tetanus
- Hepatitis
Contact us to ensure you get your travel vaccinations in plenty of time prior to your departure date. Vaccines are best when administered at least one month prior to your travel. Some vaccinations, such as rabies, need to be given over a 28 day period.
Fees for vaccinations vary depending on the type of vaccine and the number of shots required.
